The chip is a dual frequency device supporting ISO/IEC 15693, ISO/IEC 18000-3 Mode 1, NFC Forum Type 5 Tag, ISO/IEC18000-63, EPCTM Gen2v2, and ISO/IEC 29167-10. The tag offers a user configurable non-volatile memory which is accessible by NFC, HF, and UHF air interfaces.
EM4425 Dual Frequency RFID Paper Tag is designed for item-level tagging, brand protection, supply chain management, and logistics applications. This tag combines excellent performance with a unique dual-frequency capability, operating in both NFC (HF) and UHF RFID frequency ranges. With dual frequency capabilities, this tag provides powerful all-in-one solutions for, inter alia, consumer engagement, and product authentication, offering the possibility to manage the distribution channels and fight the black and grey market. The consumer can verify the authenticity of the purchased product, while the retailer can verify the authenticity of the returned product. Moreover, the interaction with the product before, during or after purchase, in-store or at home, offers a consistent consumer experience, regardless of the sales channel.
EM4425 Frequency UHF RFID/NFC Paper Tag comes standard with the EM4425 V12 echo-V IC. This IC is accessible via UHF RFID and NFC frequencies, enabling the use NFC-enabled smartphones as supplments to dedicated UHF or HF reader infrastructures.
